Mr. Andradjati, with rank of Minister is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service. He graduated from Faculty of Social and Political Science major in International Relations, University of Padjadjaran, Bandung, Indonesia and Master of International Politics from University Libre de Bruxelles 2000.
He joined Department of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia in 1981 at the Directorate of International Organizations. The first assignment was at the Indonesian Embassy in Ottawa, Canada (1984 - 1988), and then returned to Jakarta, Indonesia and served at the Directorate of Economic Relations among Developing Countries, Directorate General of Foreign Economic Relations, Department of Foreign Affairs (1988 - 1990). The second assignment abroad was at the Embassy/Indonesian Permanent Mission to the United Nations and Other International Organizations in Vienna, Austria (1990-1994 and afterward returned to Jakarta, Indonesia and served as Head of Sub-Directorate for Western Europe Financial Cooperation in the Directorate General of Foreign Economic Relations, Department of Foreign Affairs (1995 - 1998. The third assignment as Head of Economic Section was at Indonesian Mission to the European Communities In Brussels, Belgium with rank of Minister Counselor (1998 - 2002) and subsequently returned to Jakarta, Indonesia and was appointed as Director for Commodity and Standardization, Directorate General of Multilateral Affairs on Economic, Finance and Development, Department of Foreign Affairs. (2002 - 2004).
Prior to the assignment as Indonesian Consul General in Cape Town, he was Deputy Chief of Mission of Indonesian Embassy in Singapore (2004 - May 2007).
