REGARDING

AMENDMENT OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBER 54 YEAR 2002 REGARDING COORDINATION TEAM FOR INCREASING STREAMLINED OF EXPORT AND IMPORT GOODS

BY THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD

PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

 

Consider:

a. that in the framework of supporting and to increase streamlined of export and import goods and also to increasing competitiveness of Indonesian economy, by the Presidential Decree Number 54 Year 2002 regarding Coordination Team for Increasing Streamlined of Export and Import Goods, already formatted Coordination Team for Increasing Streamlined of Export and Import Goods;

b. that in connection with already be formatted the United Indonesia Cabinet and for more increasing streamlined of export and import goods, it is deep necessary to changeover the membership structure and task of Coordination Team for Increasing Streamlined of Export and Import Goods mentioned;

c. that base on coordination as meant in letter b above mentioned, it is necessary to amend Presidential Decree Number 54 Year 2002 regarding Coordination Team for Increasing Streamlined of Export and Import Goods.

In view of:

1. Article 4 sub-article (1) 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia;

2. Presidential Decree Number 54 Year 2002 regarding Coordination Team for Increasing Streamlined of Export and Import Goods.

D E C I D E S:

Stipulate:
PRESIDENTIAL DECREE REGARDING AMENDMENT PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBER 54 YEAR 2002 REGARDING COORDINATION TEAM FOR INCREASING STREAMLINED OF EXPORT AND IMPORT GOODS
Article I

Several provisions in Presidential Decree Number 54 Year 2002 regarding Coordination Team for Increasing Streamlined of Export and Import Goods, are amended as following:

1. Provision of Article 2 is changed, therefore, the whole provision of Article

2 shall be read as follows:

Article 2

The tasks of Coordination Team are:

a. to coordinate increasing effort of law enforcement streamlined toward infringe of provision of the regulations of export and import goods and also it transport vehicles;

b. to coordinate intensiveness of effort eradication in the form of entire smuggling;

c. to coordinate eradication of entire illegal-levied on export and import activities;

d. to coordinate of strategic formulation for increasing streamlined to export and import goods, including to perform study toward multifarious levies in the framework of export and import activities;

e. to coordinate planning, implementation and also evaluation activities of increasing streamlined of export and import goods.

2. Provision of Article 3 is changed, therefore, the whole provision of Article 3 shall be read as follows:

Article 3

(1) Membership structure of Coordination Team as meant in Article 1, as follows:

a. Chairman: Coordinating Minister for the Economy

b. Vice Chairman, Daily Chairman in charge: Minister of Transportation;

c. Membership:
1) Minister of Trade;
2) Minister of Finance;
3) Minister of Industry;
4) Head of Indonesian National Army;
5) Head of Police Force of the Republic of Indonesia;
6) Attorney General;

d. Secretary: Secretary of Coordinating Minister for the Economy

(2) To be performed daily duties of Coordination Team helped by Caretaker Team which consist of:

a. Chairman: Deputy Secretary of the Cabinet for Law and Regulation

b. Members:
1) Director General for Customs and Excise, Ministry of Finance;
3) Director General for Taxation, Ministry of Finance;
3) Director General for Foreign Trade, Minister of Trade;
4) Director General for Sea Transportation, Ministry of Transportation;
5) Director General for Air Transportation, Ministry of Transportation;
6) Secretary General, Minister of Industry;
7) Head for General Staff of Indonesian National Army;
8) Head of Detective and Criminal Agency, Police Force of the Republic of Indonesia;
9) Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence of the Republic of Indonesia;
10) Chairman for Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

c. Secretary: Secretary of Directorate General for Customs and Excise, Ministry of Finance

(3). To be streamlined tasks implementation for Coordination Team, Chairman of Coordination Team can to establish a Team Work or Task Force”.

3. Provision of Article 6 is changed, so that the whole provision of Article 6 shall be read as following:

Article 6

To perform their task, the Coordination Team can to request for assistance the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and the Police Force of the Republic of Indonesia (POLRI) or other agency to help out eradication effort of entire smuggling and illegal-levied of export and import activities”.

This Presidential Decree shall come into effect at the date of stipulation.
