Jakarta public appealed to observe moment of silence to celebrate heroes day

To celebrate Heroes Day 2008, Jakarta residents are appealed to observe a 60-second moment silence on Monday, November 10 at 8:15 a.m West Indonesia Time.

A press statement from the Ministry of Social Affairs in Jakarta on Sunday said that the locations for observing the moment of silence are around the traffic circle in Senayan, the Cloverleaf Bridge, Hotel Indonesia Traffic Circle, and the BI-Pertamina traffic circle at one of the corners of the Monument Square.

The moment of silence will be accompanied by the sound of a sirene installed near each of the traffic circles and the cloverleaf bridge, he said.
