Hungary wishes to cooperate with Bogor Institute of Agriculture

Hungary is seeking to cooperate with the Indonesia`s Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB) particularly in the education sector to improve quality of its human resources.

Mayor Gondollo of Hungary Dr Gyorgy Gemesi and entourage visited the IPB campus in Darmaga, Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday.

"We may exchange lecturers to improve the quality of human resources or we may send students to stude at IPB`s International Program," he said.

He made the visit to Bogor to return the visit by the Bogor city administration officials to Gondolla in May last year.

In his visit to IPB he was accompanied by Gondollo administration secretary Dr Eva Nanasi, advisor Dr Zsolt Fabian, Gondolla communications director Csaba Peterfi and Hungariam embassy official Mihaly Illes.

He was welcomed by IPB vice rector for business and communications Dr Ir Arif Imam Suroso, Msc. and the head of the sud-directorate of IPB`s International Program, Dr drh Muhammad Agil, Msc. Agr.

On the occasion Muhammad Agil briefed his guests on the history as well as academic and non-academic activities of the IPB.

IPB`s vice rector for research and cooperation Dr Ir Anas Miftah Fauzi in his welcoming speech said "we hope this meeting will make the relations between IPB and Gondolla close through various cooperation programs particularly in education."
